Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers

Karen Dawn Curtis offers gift vouchers, which can be spent on specific courses promoted on the website.

Vouchers are available for each course and are issued instantly on purchase via email.

Vouchers are usually valid for 6 months. Bookings must be made by the expiry date, though the actual course may take place later than this.

Online and e-mail bookings made with Karen Dawn Curtis

Karen Dawn Curtis offers online booking on certain course listings promoted on the website. Online booking can be cancelled for a full refund up to 14 days after purchase.

Safety & insurance

All students will be required to follow the rules of the Health and Safety Procedure any student not follow this procedure can be asked to leave.

We believe that every individual using Karen Dawn Curtis as a student or a Tutor should be treated with dignity and respect. Karen Dawn Curtis will provide a learning environment that is free from judgement or bias, regardless of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.

Where disability or physical challenges may be a barrier to participation, Karen Dawn Curtis make all reasonable adaptations possible to allow maximum safe inclusion for all, and if this is not possible, to make it clear in advance.

Notice and take-down policy

Karen Dawn Curtis operates on a "notice and takedown" basis. If you have any complaints or objections to material or content posted on this Site, or if you believe that material or content posted on this Site infringes a copyright that you hold, please contact us immediately and we will make all reasonable endeavours to remove illegal content within a reasonable time.

Karen Dawn Curtis Bookings: full terms and conditions

How it works:

• Simply e-mail Karen or use the online booking button. 
• For online booking the booking is automatically accepted, payments processed and the booking confirmed – you will be sent an email confirmation
• Gift vouchers can be used as full payment:

Course availability

All courses are offered subject to availability and places on specific courses cannot be guaranteed - bookings must be agreed/confirmed with Karen Dawn Curtis. Karen Dawn Curtis is an individual craftsperson and the courses are therefore bespoke and offered in limited numbers. Please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. 

Refunds & cancellations (course bookings)

You have 14 days to cancel your booking from purchase and you will receive a full refund (if you had paid in full or part by Karen Dawn Curtis gift voucher the gift voucher will be reactivated for you to use to book another course, subject to the expiry date). If you cancel your booking 14 days before the course start date you can amend your booking on to another date.

If you cancel your booking less than 14 days before the start date you will not be entitled to any refund though you may be able to amend your booking to another date at the discretion of the tutor. Refunds can only be made to the person who made the booking and credited to the same credit or debit card or PayPal account used at payment. 

Please note that bespoke courses, those arranged for groups or by specific arrangements, cannot be amended unless by agreement with the tutor.

Sometimes Karen Dawn Curtis may need to cancel the course at short notice for reasons beyond her control, such as adverse weather conditions, illness or mechanical breakdowns. We regret that in the event of cancellation for any reason, Karen Dawn Curtis is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expenses you may incur about the cancelled course.

Complaints & feedback

Your feedback is important to us, so please bring any comments or issues to our attention as soon as possible, so that we have a chance to put matters right.

Please note

All of the above terms and conditions apply as a condition of using the Karen Dawn Curtis Pottery Workshop whether to book a course, make enquiries or purchase a gift voucher, whether or not the participant is the original purchaser. Karen Dawn Curtis reserves the right to change these terms from time to time without reference to customers or notice. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer and are governed by British law.
